25th of May announced as International Missing Children’s Day by Australia, Canada, Brazil, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Romania, Holland and England which are the members of the Global Missing Children's Network.
The main purpose of IMCD is to encourage everyone to remember all the children missing around the world.

Child Rights Monitoring Committee of Turkish Grand National Assembly (TGNA) visited children in custody in Diyarbakır Prison. Commission members pointed out that children are having some problems in prison, stating that children should be tried as children.

Child Rights Monitoring Committee under the auspices of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TGNA) has been established through the participation of 8 deputies from all political parties represented in the Parliament. As the first example both in Turkey and the world, the committee is assigned to work for the protection and enhancement of children’s rights.
